What does it take to become financially successful?
Is there a proven formula that will provide us the solution? If you look at those who are financially successful — not just the big wig Fortune 500 executives and celebrities, but normal people (remember Aimee?) — you will find they share one thing. It’s not a fancy education and it’s not a high I.Q. That one thing that they all share is diversity. They have each become successful for a thousand different reasons.
Some were born with a silver spoon and some with a plastic spoon. Some had loving and supportive parents and others had parents who abused them mentally and physically. Some went to Harvard and others didn’t graduate from high school. Some are geniuses and others are just average.
No matter where you came from or what school you attended, you have what it takes to become financially successful.
Regardless of your childhood, your quirky traits, your sex or race, and your self-imposed “limitations,” you can have the life you dream of.
We were not all given equal opportunities, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all succeed if we work at it.
For every one person who tells me they can’t do it, I can show you a hundred who have succeeded against the worst odds.
We were not all given equal opportunities, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all succeed if we work at it. You don’t have to be a genius, and you don’t have to have a Ph.D. By developing a clear vision for your life, saving and investing wisely, and sticking to a plan, you can transform your financial life.
The Take-Away?
Successful people come from all over the world and from different backgrounds. Some have college degrees from the best universities in the world and others don’t have high school diplomas. If it didn’t prevent them from achieving success, don’t let this limiting belief stop you from going after the life you want.
