On Saturday, I participated in my PhD graduation ceremony at The American College in San Diego. I was honored to be selected as this year’s student speaker at the event. It was a busy day because it was also my daughter’s 14th birthday. Like any good father of a teenage girl, I did my best to embarrass her from the stage by calling her out and telling everyone it was her birthday (I think she secretly appreciated it).
